Join ken Feakins on a monthly basis at Yoga in Fergus for an opportunity to experience connection and solidarity amongst a group of supportive men. This gathering is about support, acceptance and accountability. Your time will include physical activity, honest sharing, breathwork and meditation, somatic release and mindful techniques that will help us look directly at things we have been carrying around and let them go.
This a by-donation event.
Ayurveda Yoga:
Grounding the Air Element
November 21 @ 6:00pm

Replenish and rejuvenate through the practices of Ayurveda and Yoga. This two-hour workshop with Clinical Ayurvedic specialist, Chloe Chaput, will introduce the Ayurvedic approach to living in balance with the qualities present at this time of the year.
As we move into autumn, the air element (Vata) naturally increases, often bringing a sense of restlessness, dryness, or imbalance. This practice is designed to restore stability and calm through breath-centered practices, grounding gentle asana, marma therapy to balance subtle energy points, and a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra. Nourish your body and mind with practices that support grounding and ease.
This session requires no previous experience.
This class will be guided by Chloe Chaput, Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Yoga Teacher.

Back to Breath:
Breathwork workshop w/ Ken Feakins
Saturday, November 22 @ 4:00pm

The breath is a gateway to freedom and autonomy. It is a reminder of the unity that is our body, mind and spirit and is a way to reclaim control of our wellbeing. This type of breathwork is carefully designed to increase a sense of internal clarity and release tension, anxiety, and emotional blockages. The entire experience is carefully guided through precise and supportive instruction. We will begin with some gentle movement to help establish a centered awareness. Then the instructor will accompany you along a breath journey that begins with a calm and relaxed breath, and gradually builds the breathing practice to cultivate an intense and elevated state. Somatic and emotional release are a common result of the practice. We complete the practice with a settling and calming breath to leave you feeling clear and calm.
