Classes
Do you have classes for new students?
Yes! We consistently offer an Introduction to Yoga 6-week series. This is an excellent starting point for brand new students. If you cannot make the series or have a little yoga experience under your belt, some more gentle class suggestions include Gentle flow class, Yin yoga, or Hips and Back yoga. New students may want to try a one-week unlimited pass in order to try as many classes as you like.
What do I need to bring to class?
Yourself! Most students bring their own yoga mat to class. However, we do have yoga mats at the studio for your use. We also have plenty of yoga props (blankets, blocks, straps) for our students. We suggest bringing a sealable bottle of water.
What should I wear to class?
Whatever makes you most comfortable. Though you want to wear clothes that have some stretch. We suggest wearing layers. Yoga is typically practiced in barefoot, through some prefer to wear socks for the practice.
Where are you located?
You will find us at 855 St. David St. in Fergus. That is the plaza between the Fresco and the Walmart plaza. The studio entrance is on the north side of the building. You can also enter through Centre Wellington Remedy's Rx pharmacy.

Special Circumstances
Can I practice yoga if I am pregnant?
In a healthy pregnancy, you should be perfectly fine practicing yoga. However, it is important that you have permission from your health care provider. In general, it is not recommended that you start a new yoga practice in the first trimester of pregnancy (if you have not been practicing prior). Once you decide to practice yoga, we recommend that you stay within a level of yoga that you are accustomed to. There are modifications that need to be considered. As such, it is important that you let us know that you are pregnant so that we can help support you to make any necessary modifications. With these considerations, yoga can be a really wonderful support for your mind and body, during this incredible time.
I have an injury. Can I practice yoga?
If practiced carefully and with proper consideration of your injury, yoga can be an excellent support to injury recovery and prevention. However, this entirely depends on the type of injury and the stage of recovery that you are in. The first important step is that you have been given permission from your health care provider to practice yoga. If you have an injury that you are concerned about, we suggest that you reach out to us directly and we can help you to determine if yoga is suitable and safe at this stage and what class is best suited for you. Be certain to mention your injury to your instructor at the beginning of class, so that they can offer modifications, if needed. We can also arrange a private lesson for you, to give you tools to modify your practice and help support your recovery.
Do you offer private classes?
Yes! We offer private classes for both those looking for some personalized direction and care or if you would like to hire us for your own group. Private practices are excellent for... -If you are recovering from an injury and need some specific modification or yoga therapeutics to support your healing and practice -If you cannot make our class times work in your schedule. -If you are having a special event and want to practice yoga with your friends or colleagues. We would love to be a part of this! Prices vary depending on the amount of people and whether you are booking a single session or consecutive sessions. Check out the prices page for more details.
