Instructor
Kat Marquardt
Kat brings a deeply caring and approachable energy to all of her classes. She is a skilled and passionate teacher, with a flare for creating a relaxing, easeful practice for her students. Kat began her yoga journey in pursuit of a good workout, but quickly realized that was the tip of the iceberg. Spending time on her mat has become her respite and the key to mental wellness. Her classes focus on relaxation, tension relief, and intentional movement. Kat received her YTT certification from Karma Teachers in Vancouver, BC, where she lived for 6 years. She’s now a Fergus local who loves biking, and any activity that gets her outside.

Renee confidently teaches a variety of Yoga styles; including Vinyasa flow, Power Yoga and Yin Yoga. What started out as a compliment to her fitness regime became a deep passion. Her longing to share the magic of yoga continued to emerge as she deepened her knowledge of the practice and became increasingly drawn to the emotional and spiritual side of Yoga. For Renee, Yoga is a journey to self, to discovering the truth of who we truly are. It allows us to better embody peace, love, joy, unity, and personal fulfillment in our lives. Renee loves the mind-body connection of yoga, the way in which it challenges one physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. She enjoys the benefits of increased flexibility, balance, strength and concentration as well as an improvement in her ability to handle everyday stressors of life. It is her desire, hope and vision to share these amazing benefits with family, friends and the community.
